The Prosser Group is a family-run business founded in 1893 by Harry Prosser. The company's original association with Wolsely motorcars evolved through the years from BMC to British Leyland and then on to a partnership with Rover/BMW largely due to the involvement of Harry's two grandsons, Denis and Stan Prosser who managed the company.

Always a keen boater in his private time, Stan decided to progress his business further and create a seperate side of the company dedicated to boat sales and servicing. At first this was just a hobby for Stan alongside the main business of new car sales. Over time however, Stan's reputation for service and personal attention to his customers became widespread and people from all over the UK were coming to visit his showroom in Glasgow city centre.

For around two decades, Prosser Marine have been recognised as the largest specialist marine dealer in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Prossers has gone from strength to strength and has experienced many changes since its beginnings as a side project. What hasn't changed in over 100 years is the commitment to progressive thinking, offering genuine value and putting customer priorities first.

Dedicated to customer service, the reputation of Prosser Marine speaks for itself. Although Prossers only became official Fairline dealers at the end of 2006, we have a vast knowledge of the product due to our large turnover of multiple brand used stock as an independant company.
